WHO IS THIS VIDEO FOR?

This is video is meant for language teachers or language learners. English learners will need to be upper intermediate in order to follow comfortably.

WHAT IS IN THE VIDEO?

You may have seen this activity called the “scriptorium technique.” This is a great activity to learn language through the skill of writing. You’ll also need reading as well. This will give you a good technique to how you copy. I enjoy doing this activity with texts that I encounter in intensive reading. By holding chunks of text in the mind before you write them down you will improve you working memory and to learn collocations. Be careful to not overuse this activity though, a little bit goes a long way!
