How Beginners can get started

Welcome to the final video in the series!

One big problem with being a beginner is that everything is new. Teachers often teach too much new vocabulary and the focus is on just learning more and more. Most people who are learning a language want to be able to use what they learn. This video will show you what to focus on in the early stages of the language learning journey. We should learn survival phrases and vocabulary first and then build up so we can work with graded readers (or other adapted material) to ensure we are learning from meaning-focused input. All the while we are learning how to use what we learn.
