Young Learner Lesson Observations

I am a Celt-P and Celt-S tutor. I have started collecting video observation of very effective lessons that I’ve observed with permission from the teachers. The videos with blue titles are the ones that I taught (one day maybe I’ll add some). The green ones are from other experienced teachers.

Celt-P or Celt-S Observation
Reading and Writing (Age 12)
April 2019 (60 Minutes)

This was a skills lesson with 12-year-old learners. This observation would be appropriate for Celt-P or Celt-S candidates, or anyone interested in teaching in a more student-centered way with young learners.

Grammar (Age 6-7)
Jan 2019 (35 Minutes)

This was a Merit lesson for TP 3 on Celt-P. It includes a story book activity with reading and listening, followed by a writing activity with a “wall gallery” where the students evaluated each other’s work.

Celt-P Observation
Vocabulary (Age 6-7)
June 2019 (45 Minutes)

This is a class of complete beginners aged 6 and 7. They have been studying English for about 2 months, and their level of English is almost the same, they are all beginners. All the learners are energetic and physically active, curious and receptive to new ideas.
